It was a great time today to reflect. We came to the office ready to start JellyChip marketing but our Facebook and LinkedIn logins had stopped working overnight. What may have been a day of spreading the news that we had launched turned into a rather meditative one of coding. We were also able to reflect on our progress to date and the direction the company is heading in the upcoming months.
It’s not often you can say you love what you do. Sure, there are moments in the day where you are curled in the corner, in a foetal position, rocking gently back and forward. There are others where something clicks inside of you, a strange feeling that seems to drift on and on.
We can truly say that JellyChip is a work of love. It’s a tough love but it’s a rewarding love. It’s one of those loves where that constant turmoil stirs something inside of you to keep you going. It’s that spark that occasionally rears its head every now and then, the one that tells you we have something special to nurture "so do a good job!"
The work is hard and the hours are long but it is entirely worth the effort to see JellyChip grow and prosper. There is so much potential here that sometimes I want to try and gather it all up and document it somewhere but its impossible. We will try our best to do it here though.
... and the JellyChip login is fixed! Four cups of coffee later and the most epic coding known to man/woman. Good end to a good day.
