The website is finished. This should hopefully last us now well into next year (with minor additions). I really believe the site now properly conveys “JellyChip”. No marketing frills or minimalist design. Just honest facts about what we are and what we do.
I really hope this helps with bringing the community together around the common goal of giving. It’s also pretty awesome to see all the new users from the Philippines on JellyChip and in Lifeline Feed yesterday. HEY! Welcome to JellyChip and welcome to changing lives.
Something’s gone wrong with forum.jellychip.com so I’m fixing that now. Our DNS registries in AWS are a mess so I’m going to have to find the solution today. This forum will have four sections that help you guys help JellyChip: 1) Questions, 2) Ideas, 3) Problems, 4) Praise.
Questions will be where you can ask questions about JellyChip and where other people have posted their questions too. It will be a great place to search for other people that have the same issues as you and where to find a solution.
Ideas will be where you can post suggested features for JellyChip. This is good because we NEED your feedback on JellyChip and it’s direction. I need to know what you want, what you want to see in JC and where you see our giving going. This is the most important thing for me because I need to see what you guys think JC should become. There’s a million and one ways to do JellyChip, but I need to see the way YOU want. Charity focus? Social focus? Or gamifying focus (levels, points, bonuses, fun times)?
Problems will be a place where you can submit issues you’re having with JellyChip. We get it - JellyChip isn’t perfect. No platform is. But we need to see the issues you’re having to resolve them. It’s also good to be able to search and see the issues other people are having too - so we don’t have to spam the same problem 5 million times.
Praise - a place where you can say you love JellyChip! This will be really nice for our team and me to see when things are looking tough, and those long hours wear down on your soul. We really love to hear good things about JellyChip so please post in there!
