We’ll be submitting our latest JellyChip update to the App Store and Google Play today with some new quality of life improvements for the app, fixed and changes to a couple of menus.
Whilst these aren’t major they do help with two issues the users are currently facing: donating and voting.
Our first major feature today will be a bulk donate option that allows people to donate much bigger amounts of points than the current +5s.
I’ll save the fun of using this feature until you have it in your hands but it’s pretty exciting. It should create some dynamic interplay between the power users who will be able to donate huge amounts of points at once, and the normal users who will be journeying along with their +5 donations every now and then.
The second major feature will be allowing you to sort the Gift Voting list by newest gifts, oldest gifts, and most bought/least bought.
This is a great way to find out the least bought gifts on JellyChip to support gifts that may have been forgotten by Chippers. It’s also a great way to find out the newest gift on JellyChip and support our newest causes.
Plus we’re adding a category identifier to the gift so people can see what category each gift belongs to (Animals, Education, Environment, Food and Health). This will allow people to vote easier and gives each gift a better identity.
Both these and a number of other fixes and improvements will be in today’s update that we’ll submit around our evening time. Quality of life improvements #rule.
