We've been at this for a while and every now and then it gets you thinking. What if we COULD change the world, what if we COULD fix world issues, what if we COULD make things right with everyone and anyone. Wealth redistribution, poverty alleviation, giving people the right to a decent life.
Every couple of months we review JellyChip and every couple of months our perspective grows a little bigger. Last month we changed 2,041 lives with JellyCitizens buying 2,041 charity gifts (all paid for by JellyChip). And that's unbelievably fantastic. I am desperately yearning for charities to show us actual PROOF of our change, and this is something I'm working on earnestly.
Now maybe we're lowballing ourselves because we're already changing lives, but we're determined to think bigger. DETERMINED! We still think we're the one social network for charity and we still think we have something very special in JellyChip. This is a massive project and we have a long way to go. We're shortly off finishing our "stage 1" JellyChip which means epic marketing ahead. More on that later.
Anyway our last week has been pretty eventful as well. First stop was fixing a number of issues with the app and submitting new updates to Apple + Google with trivia flags, blocking users, a new button in the header for ads, and new notifications. Now we've moved onto a number of features most important to me - community voting, council voting, new ads and a country leaderboard.
No need to discuss these now, I'll let you know about them when they're more fleshed out!
Keep giving and changing the world. Who knows, we may actually change the entire world someday.
