The Storytelling Project (TSP) is a non profit organization that aims to spark hope, inspiration and imagination through storytelling; to make reading an enjoyable experience for children; to start a reading habit; and to instill the love of reading and learning in the kids they reach out to. Around 1 in ten Filipinos aged 6-24 years old is an out-of-school youth. The top 3 reasons why Filipinos quit school are marriage, insufficient family income or a lack of interest in schooling. This gift sends an underprivileged child to a reading program by the TSP for one day. This reading program involves 21 days of continuous activities with the whole community through daily storybook reading, seminars and trainings for the teachers and families of the children to encourage reading not just in school but also at home.
This gift supports communities in the Philippines and costs 360 points on JellyChip.
The target charity is The Storytelling Project.
