Let's talk about JellyChip Surveys and we don't do it enough. Our survey platform, called JellyChip Surveys, will one day become a huge place for companies and people to go to get their market research data.
We are different from other survey platforms in two ways: 1) companies can ask our users questions and get direct answers (they don't have to sort through meaningless user data), 2) they can change lives by asking those questions - we give users 20 points per completed respond to spend on a charity gift!
The difference with our survey platform is that companies no longer have to buy user data in bulk and sort for trends - they can ask users directly questions related to their business, their products or their thinking. And get actual feedback from them! This might be about the latest iPhone, the colour of a Coca-Cola can or the recommended features of a new electric SUV.
Being "us" we developed our survey platform way in advance to one day be our primary revenue source that funds our entire charity giving. However, we're not there yet. Obviously we need the users before companies can survey them, hence we need people to love JellyChip. Then we can contact companies that might want to survey our users, and get them creating surveys. In turn, you'll get many more questions to answer which means points!
So a number of questions have been asked about the privacy of users in JellyChip. So let's run through them because we're completely different to other social networks!
How do companies get my data?
Companies set filters to work out their audience in corporate.jellychip.com when creating a survey. These filters are 1) age, 2) gender, 3) country and 4) phone type. If you fit into the filters that survey provider creates, you'll get a survey.
What data do companies get from my survey?
Companies get your data in Excel format and PDF to download and use how they please. However, they ONLY get the answers you gave them in the survey - nothing more. They don't get your user profile, your name or any other information in your account. All they get are your answers, knowing the filters they created for the survey. Pretty clever indeed.
Are companies building up a profile of me?
No. They have no way to do that.
Can companies send me offers I don't want?
No, not unless you give them your email address in one of their surveys.
Are you storing user data up to sell to companies in bulk?
So companies don't have any way to contact me?
Nope, not unless you give it to them in a survey.
Do you monitor our Chats or Snaps?
Nope, not at all. This is private and confidential for you. Unless users report your Snaps to us for violating our Terms, then we'll destroy you.
So that's it. We're very proud of our survey platform and we've barely touched the surface of it's potential. It'll become a valuable tool for businesses that want to start talking to their customers and helping the planet at the same time. We look to market our survey platform by the end of the year - but it's available right now to try.
