So we've had a few requests asking us how filters work in the latest update and we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to show you how!
With JellyChip we want people to buy the same gift - this is the essence of Lifeline. People must work together as a community to buy charity gifts and make change. It's through that community spirit that we stick together and make a difference "as one".
We've needed to add features to Vote for a while, because as our list of gifts is expanding so too is the confusion about what to vote for. When there's 42 gifts to vote for (as there currently is) to see appear in Lifeline, it becomes a moral dilemma about where to place your vote.
Filters sort the Vote list by four different parameters: 1) Newest Gifts, 2) Oldest Gifts, 3) Most Bought Gifts, and 4) Least Bought Gifts.
Let's explain each one:
The "Newest" filter allows you to sort the gift list by newest gifts that have appeared on JellyChip since the beginning of time. This is great if you want to vote for the newest gift on JellyChip.
The "Oldest" filter is the reverse of the Newest filter, sorting the gift list by the oldest gifts that have appeared on JellyChip. This is super if you want to vote for a golden oldie that may have been forgotten about.
The "Most Bought" filter allows you to sort the gift list by gifts that have been most bought in the previous 30 days. This is great if you want to jump on the bandwagon and buy the hippest, most popular gifts on JellyChip!
The "Least Bought" filter allows you to sort the gift list by the least popular gifts on JellyChip in the past 30 days. This is great if you want to support charities and causes that have been neglected by JellyChip, have not been bought, and need some love!
So that's it! If you still want to use the good old-fashioned alphabetical gift list then unselect the Vote filters and you'll be back at square one.
